The World of Volleyball Strength & Conditioning Info Volleyball Reviews & Other Stuff Subscribe to Our Site! VOLLEYBALL COURT IS IN SESSION! Are you a volleyball athlete, a coach, the parent of an athlete, or just a die hard fan? No matter who you are I'm sure you found this site because you LOVE this sport and are looking for good information, news, equipment, links etc... Well, look no further, you have arrived at the right place! Like most kids, I was first introduced to this sport when I was in elementary school, and I remember always really enjoying it. Do you LOVE volleyball? Click here and tell us why you love this sport! Since then the rules of the game have changed a quite a bit.  The changes made were for the best, and for the advancement of the sport. I played again in high school, and still really loved it.  The sport at that time (1980's) did not have huge popularity - here in Canada anyway.  Actually I don't think it was until the last 5 years or so that it has really gained popularity nationally, regionally and locally. As the years went on, my love for the game returned when my daughter was 9 years old and she wanted to play Club volleyball.  So I took her to the tryouts and she made the team!  So exciting!  She quickly learned to love the sport as much as I do.  So that first year I became the parent representative for the team and helped manage the players and the parents of the players. That was it! I was "hooked" again! So that summer I took my Level 1 coaching certification because I wanted to get more involved. I coached the following 3 years after that and it was fantastic! I really enjoyed every minute of it. For me it was a wonderful way to give back to the community, and to spend quality time with my daughter. I looked forward to each and every practice and tournament. I thoroughly enjoyed watching each girl learn and excel at the skills they were being taught.  Just seeing their faces when they accom
