Traditional Log Homes have been around for century’s and are still very popular today. Each log is hand peeled revealing the woods natural beauty. The logs are then hand scribed, using a custom full scribing technique that takes years to master. Log trusses and roof support beams are unique to each home. The use of large scale logs are standard in our homes and have become our company's trademark. Post & Beam homes incorporate intricate log joinery with traditional construction to offer a flexibility in style not always found in full log construction. Logs are hand peeled and flatten where necessary to allow for framing, doors and windows. The original round log appearance is visible in the interior as well as the exterior of the home. This type of construction allows for a variety of finishing options and complexities in design. Timber Frame homes have become a popular option today. Large milled square timbers along with conventional framing allows for a modern rustic elegance.
